Survey of Personal Relationship in New Orleans is a series of 12 portraits (six excerpts seen here), taken of friends and colleagues in New Orleans. In reflection on the relationships I have made over my two years in New Orleans, I created a method of documenting not only the physical attributes of the sitter, but the characteristics of our relationship. By collecting audio of our conversation and allowing them a hand in how and where the image is composed, each portrait takes on innate psychological qualities.
